A few years ago a famous television preacher died. Perhaps the more correct adjective for this "gimme" evangelist is infamous. We probably wouldn't remember the event but for one local wag who took to cyberspace to proclaim that he didn't have anything nice to say about the man while he was alive, why wouldn't he tell it like it is when he's dead?
The man may have had a point, but in such cases, it's best simply to say nothing. We're pretty sure those who refrain from criticism come out looking much better for it.
But what if the person is just a regular Joe for whom you had a great dislike? Do you prove anything by telling the world about it? Unless there's an ongoing court case or something similar, why would you even bring the person's name into a conversation?
How about this: Why would you place a picture of the deceased individual in front of your home? A home that is directly across the street from this man's family? What does that say about your mental health?
Does anyone want such a person driving their kids to school five days a week? The hater has so much vitriol dripping out of her bones that she cannot be considered safe to hold the lives of kids in her hands.
Yet she does...
By now you've probably read of the City of Florence school bus driver who taunts her neighbors on Facebook and in her neighborhood. Her acts say much more about her than her victims.
We're not sure who hires Florence bus drivers and we certainly know that Dr. Jimmy Shaw has much more important things to do than to supervise the lowest of the low in the system hierarchy, but we sincerely hope someone out there has enough common sense to keep this driver away from any of our kids...for a long, long time.
